Born in Leiria, David Fonseca is one of the most charismatic Portuguese voices. His name is inextricably linked to his first band, Silence 4, which imposed itself as the biggest and most astonishing phenomenon on the recent years of Portuguese music.
In 2003, he started his solo career with “Sing Me Something New”, playing nearly all instruments and exploring his composer and performer sides more than ever.
Off the stage, he also devoted himself to the image area, making his own video clips, photography exhibitions and the book “Right Here, Right” (Tinta da China), a collection of 132 Polaroid photographs among the numerous images produced by David Fonseca in this format between 1998 and 2008.
With an uncommon dynamic with the public, David Fonseca has been devoting a special attention to the relationship with his fans, having created a community from his website, the “Amazing Cats Club”, or standing out in social platforms.
