Joana Ramalho was born in 1990 in Lisbon, where she lives and works. She has a degree in Fine Arts from Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies, and a post-graduate degree in Painting by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Her work mainly involves drawing and painting, with word and calligraphy as central elements.
