Romie was born in 1996, in inland Portugal. She is currently attending the second year of the Master of Fine Arts at Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Caldas da Rainha, where she also graduated in Visual Arts. She positions herself as a catalyst of her time, seeing Art as an extension of life itself. The artist addresses issues related to intimacy and identity fluidity, questioning sociocultural clichés, gender stereotypes, and the different roles we play in life. Through a hybrid approach between crafts and digital, she works on Photography, Video, Painting, Drawing, artist books, installation and performance. Media through which she creates another space.
